*Valvoline Global Operations Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY. We are open to candidates working in a 100% remote capacity, but willing to visit HQs quarterly.

How You’ll Make an Impact

The MarTech & UX Product Owner is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing marketing automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, as well as creating user-centered interfaces for our digital solutions applications. In this role, you will collaborate with Global Marketing teams, as well as cross-functionally with Salesforce Product Owners, IT, Web Development, Brand Equity, and Creative teams on a day-to-day basis, to provide a world-class customer experience. By assisting the MarTech Product Leader, you will develop and deliver feature enhancements to market that increase customer satisfaction, enhance user experience, and enable revenue growth.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Serves as the conduit between the business and IT for MarTech product development for enhancements through the Agile methodology. Assists the lead product owner for projects in the development of a product from discovery phase to release to the users, optimizing it at every release. Assists in preparing and providing regular reporting and executive leadership updates including product scope, schedule and planning. Design and develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for Salesforce applications, including Ecommerce, and Experience Cloud.

  • Gathers business requirements in order to write user stories that align to the features and assists in keeping the sprint backlog full and prioritized. Provides context for design decisions and details. Develops user stories from prioritized features, identifying acceptance criteria for user stories, approving each user story during the sprint and ensuring that user stories meet the acceptance criteria and are updated in the system. Collaborates with project teams to resolve issues. Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path activities. By working with Brand Equity and following enterprise brand style guide, implement and maintain design standards and best practices. Stay up-to-date with Salesforce design patterns and emerging trends. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions.

  • Work alongside lead product owners, provides input to regional priorities and sprint planning. Understands the impact and creates the business case for the features or enhancements.

  • Works across multi-function stakeholders to define the business processes for features. Ensures that business processes are development and defined for delivered features both current and future state. Assists the digital lead and lead product owner in understanding the change impact to stakeholders.

  • Works with the Customer Experience team to understand product KPI’s to drive revenue growth, customer satisfaction and increase adoption. Makes recommendations for improvement and optimization that drive the maximum value for the business objectives.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science, technology, engineering, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Prioritize customer needs, communicate effectively, and strive to deliver excellent service, fostering client relationships.

  • Strong inter-personal andcommunication skills, with the ability to communicate the progress of each epic across stakeholders

  • Self-starter, hungry to deliver with a team player attitude

  • Minimum four years of strategic, cross project coordination to ensure for effective use of corporate resources.

  • Willingness to visit HQs (in Lexington, KY) quarterly (4x annually)

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

What Will Set You Apart

  • 2+ years of Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience

  • 2+ years of website development experience (UX)

  • Product management of large MarTech, web, e-commerce or Salesforce projects
