*Valvoline Global Operations Headquarters is located in Lexington, KY. We prefer candidates willing to work a hybrid in-office work schedule (3 days per week) if local. We are also open to candidates working in nearby markets (i.e. Cincinnati, Louisville), in a remote capacity but willing to visit HQs monthly.

How You’ll Make an Impact

The Pricing Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability across our product portfolio. The role includes develop pricing strategies for new and existing products based on market analysis, competitive intelligence, and business objectives. This includes managing a team of analysts to execute pricing strategy.

In the role, you would be responsible for:

  • Understand market trends, competitive intelligence and product positioning to develop pricing strategy and pricing recommendations to sales leaders

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, product strategy and finance to align pricing strategies with overall business goals. Provide pricing guidance and support to sales teams to ensure pricing consistency and effectiveness.

  • Oversee implementation of pricing initiatives and ensure adherence to pricing policies and guidelines.

  • Analyze pricing data, sales performance to generate insights and recommendations. Report on KPIs as required.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field

  • 8+ years of professional experience in pricing or with business intelligence, economic data, financial data analytics or related field

  • Strong commercial sense and an entrepreneurial and result oriented style

  • Strong project management skill

  • Solid data analysis and presentation skills

  • Track record of being a self-starter; motivated for professional growth

  • Proficiency in relevant tools and software (Excel, SAP, PowerBI, Power Point, etc.)

  • Advanced experience with data analysis, dashboarding, and financial modeling/analysis

  • Experience with expertise in market, customer and competitor research

  • Experience managing pricing processes with cross-functional partners

  • Strong research and synthesis skills (translate data into insights and actions)

  • Clear, concise verbal and written communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels

  • Team collaboration – ability to work cross-functionally

  • Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skill

  • Management experience (this role will have direct reports)

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
